The role of Carbon Capture and Storage in averting the worst impacts of climate change is bigger and more fundamental than many yet realise. CCS delivers a viable route to competitive, low-carbon power and products, and remains the only option for deep emissions cuts from key industries. In this pivotal year for global action on climate change, the SCCS Annual Conference focused on CCS developments and progress in regional economies, including Scotland, in order to illuminate a pathway to CCS success.
